Hi everyone,

I am converting an old Bianchi XL boron into a single speed bike for cruising around town. I ordered a White Industries ENO hub and a Sugino RD crankset for it so far. I would like a Phil Wood BB but need to achieve a 47.5mm chainline, as required by the ENO hub. According to Sheldon Brown, the Sugino RD will use a 103mm BB for a 42.5mm chainline but Ben's Cycle states that it takes a 103mm BB for a 45mm chainline. So should I get a 108mm or 111mm BB? I know Shimano offers 110mm, but I have my heart set on a Phil Wood.

As a second question, hows come Campy brake levers are so expensive? I got a nice pair of Centaur brakes for $60 and would like some matching levers. Any suggestions? Maybe Cane Creek??

I will be sure to post pictures when my bike is completely done. I know I am converting a great road frame,(which will anger hardcore roadies) but I was able to save it from near death.
Thanks,
Patrick

splined eno hub:

freewheel side:47.5mm

splined side:44mm

could not get a EAI or Dura Ace track cog to thread onto my standard Eno threaded hub.

Ben's Cycles is correct. Sheldon was correct, but things have changed.
