150 kms, and I did it!

Thanks to the all-knowing gurus of BF and The Complete Book of Long-Distance Cycling. I drank and ate regularly, I kept my own pace and didn't get seduced by the faster groups swoosching by, I tried to hang to whatever group I could keep up with and realized what everyone has been talking about, and I realized why so many of you advocate interval training as a complement to riding long distances slowly.

I did it in 6h 28 minutes including breaks, and most of it on my own. So what I know now is: I love riding, I can do it for a really long time, my comfort zone is 24 km/h, and most importantly: riding is not the same as training.

So next time, I'll push that comfort zone, I'll be better at catching and sticking to the trains going by, and I'll know I can make it so I don't have to worry so much.

Just wanted to share and say Thank You!
