I got my Nigel Smythe Big Loafer from Rivendell this week so I thought I'd take the required pics and post'em up. :thumb:
Don't know if I posted it before but I also have one of the first rando bags from Acorn Bags. I had them custom make it for me in a dark olive green.

I also swapped out my traditional quill stem for a polished Velo Orange traditional 6 degree stem and threadless stem adapter.

Your bike is like a 57 Chevy, but with halogen headlights, and modern powertrain. I like.

heh, heh.... thanks! :)

btw, that rear bag holds my jeans, t-shirt, undies, socks, fruit and room to spare. Pretty much everything i need on a normal day. My iphone and wallet and keys are in the rear pockets that faces me on the rando bag and that bag also holds my tools, tube, etc in the front pocket leaving the large main part of the bag empty for whatever else i may need to carry.

Nice looking set-up! Ilike the AHH a lot. I've got a blue tweed Big Loafer/Nitto Top Rack on the back of my Atlantis. It's a perfect combination and a really practical size. When I have all of my stuff it's a little too small for my commute though. It works when I don't have to bring much. It'd probably work fine if I had a second bag on the front. Normally I ride my Quickbeam, which has a Mark's mini-rack/Frost River Gunflint Trail.

Thanks!
I used to have an Atlantis... see my sig.

Luckily I only need to bring clothes and snacks with me usually. The big loafer holds my jeans, t-shirt, undies, socks, apple, banana, and room for more if I need it. I usually put my wallet, keys, iphone and anything else in the front bag. But they would fit in the loafer if I needed them to.
