I've got a Fuji Del Rey CX Hybrid bike I bought new probably 20+ years ago. It has not been ridden in years (hanging from the rafters in the garage). The last time I rode it the chain would jump gear teeth on the rear sprockets when pedaling hard. I was told by someone who should know that the sprocket teeth are worn and need to be replaced. Just wondering if this is a bike of any quality, is this an expensive part to replace? Haven't really done much mechanical work on bikes, though in days gone by have worked on autos and motorcycles. Any comments would be appreciated.
Thanx

Let me answer my own post. After stopping by the local bike shop I decided to purchase a new bike. He even gave me a few bucks for the old bike, alot of items needed attention and fixing. Even though its a pleasure rider, riding with the kids, camping etc, aren'tja glad I didn't buy at Wally Mart!
