Hi. I have an Acura Integra hatchback and I need a bike rack. I've narrowed down my fit/price search to the following racks:
- Yakima Little Joe
- Thule 960 Freeway
- Saris Sentinel
I haven't been able to find any consumer reviews on these racks. Is anyone out there familiar with any of these racks and can offer an opinion?
Thanks SO much. (I'm planning on buying a rack before July/2004.)

I own an Infiniti and have a Thule rack that I love. It is relatively easy to get on and off the trunk of the car and keeps the bikes very stable on the road. I found a website that had a great deal on the rack. I believe I paid $68.00 for my two bike rack.

I have a Yakima Mighty Joe. I hate the damn thing. Actually I'd have to say that there's nothing really wrong with the rack... it's just that I've grown to despise the whole trunk mount design in general. The pads and hooks scratch your paint, can't get in your trunk easily, not very stable. I cringe every time I hit a bump and see my bikes bouncing around back there. I'm buying a roof rack the next time I get a rack. No matter what it costs it will have to be better than the stupid trunk mount.

I have a Saris Bones 3 rack. I've used it on a Dodge Neon, a Volvo wagon, and a Subaru with great success. It is rock solid, easy on the bikes and easy on the car. Just make sure to clean the feet and car before installing to prevent scratches. Its a little fiddley to set up, but once adjusted, it goes on and off in a couple of minutes. I just marked the leg positions in different colored markers for each car and I can set it up and install it on one of the other cars in about 15 minutes. I've used a lot of trunk racks and this is clearly the best. Check the Saris site first to make sure it fits your car.
