Road Cycling - 2 hrs. a day the whole week give me some schedule

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Actually 2-3 hrs. a day. I'm unemployed right now but looking forward to riding more (work won't get in my riding time). Can someone give me a week long training schedule. I live in San Diego, CA so I can ride some hills too. I've been riding for quite some time now but I feel like I'm getting no where anymore (stuck if I may say). I ride my Cyclops to get some quality workout (no traffic, etc.) even during good weather. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks

silly, the reason you aren't going anywhere is because your back wheel isn't touching the ground! that trainer is your problem...:D
seriously, if you have the base milage, try doing some intervals, and get outside to do some hills, etc.
I too am unemployed so I ride 25-40 miles almost every day. My route includes hills, intervals, sprints, and lots of traffic. :fight:

I have done some club racing but would like to be stronger in the hills if possible. I'm 180 lbs. (down from 200) and a MHR of 165 bpm. I do some hill climbs but I can't seem to get my cadence high engouh. I feel like I'm a big gear grinder. I feel more comfortable with it. But obviously, when I reach the top of the climb, I'm toast.

If you can manage to survive with unemployment benefits, I'd say don't sweat being jobless. Enjoy it and ride all you want with no time to worry about ;) Have fun and keep those pedals turning
