Hi
my relatively new pentaclip is driving me mad - it creaks and clicks all the time while riding. I've tried tightening, loosening, oiling, un-oiling, dismantling and everything but it seems to slip between 2 angles depending on where the pressure on the saddle is.

has anyone else suffered this or found a cure?

Yes, it is always annoying to hear creaking sound. Have u tried other saddle just to confirm that it's not the saddle rails that is creating the noise?

nope, definitely the clip. I tried a different saddle but I can see the clip move a few degrees each way when it clicks. Maybe I'll take it back to the shop and see if they can fix / replace it. It's only a fefw moonths old after all

are you sure it's not the suspension block? that's the most common source of noise, even on brand new bromptons!
