Clydesdales/Athenas (200+ lb / 91+ kg) - Cooking for a Clyde

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Okay folks, need a few suggestions here.
I need some advice on what sports nutrition/weight loss cookbooks to get.
I already have a few that explain about nutrition, but are very light on the recipes. And I'm very handicapped when it comes to forming recipes.
I had thought about posting this in the Nutrition forum, but wanted responses from my fellow Clydes/Athenas for obvious reasons.
What do y'all use?

Try and cook everything, No prepackaged foods and keep your protein carb ratio 1 to 1. Get a ohmeric test done to see how many cal your body consumes at a resting state in a day. approx 500 less cal per day equals 1 lb per week. 1 pound of fat equals 3500 cal.
Biggest loser cookbooks. Easy to follow recipes and the food tastes great. Just remember the key is portion control!
I've had good luck with allrecipes.com - it's 100% free and the reviews can help you zero in on the best recipes. There are many health-conscious recipes available, and it's easy to make substitutions when needed for others, like ground turkey for ground beef, vegetable patties (GardenBurger, etc.) as meat stand-ins, using unsweetened applesauce instead of cooking oil (it works very well for many recipes), and other popular tricks.

The Mayo Clinic also has a large number of recipes you may want to take a look at: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/weight-loss-recipes/RE00126

My best suggestion for weight loss is Weight Watchers. I have lost 50 pounds so far by doing weight watchers, and I am only 30 pounds away from my goal of 190 lbs and I know I will be damn close by the eend of summer.
