we live in sydney australia and have a model a ford x 2 and also was given an old bike i have pictures on the computer but im not sure how to get them to this site when i do via one of the kids you may be able to help identify this bike

The brand may originate in England but I believe that what is in your picture is an Indian made bike - they are very popular and often used for carrying huge loads.

I think it is English, not Indian. That thing is old and it looks like it has a Wrights mattress saddle. Look for date code on the hub.
