I'm going to be building up a Powertap rear wheel and need to chose a rim. Choices are Alex XCR Pro scandium or Stans Olympic.
The Alex rim is probably twice as expensive but I save 20g. Money is not too much of an issue but would be one if considering durability. I find replacing rims a season or two acceptable.
I would be doing XC, short track and marathon racing.
