On a personal level, my attempt at 8 passes was a complete dumper....just felt crumby all day. 140 miles, 11651 ft and 10:29. The event went much better than me!
We are starting to get some good feedback from riders. Very positive and very constructive too.
My comments are not official, just my opinion, but lots to work on.....date, cutoff times, start times for those who just want to stay off Hwy 88, perhaps a "Mild Sierra" metric for those who want some very good riding without the big passes. Ditch the "Worlds Toughest" moniker. It may or may not be the worlds toughest but that is for the riders to decide....not ride organizers. As a club we will be having at least 3 big open meetings and a forum for input.
Please, if you have any additional input, feel free to post here as it will get back to the ride director.
Personally, I was blown away by how a very large percentage of members in this small club came out and worked their tails off......story and pics on my cycling blog below.

Good Luck to all the Terrible Two riders this weekend!
