I've watched this show here and there for the last so many seasons. I do not know when or what time it comes on. If I happen to catch it, then I'll watch it.

The show is based out of SFV, Ca. I get a big kick out of watching the way these people act when the car is repossessed. They are so damn dependent on it. One of the girls from the 'repo team' make a comment in a recent episode.

They had gone to repossess a womans' car and her boyfriend was running his mouth. She said, "that girl needs a new boyfriend; he doesn't even have a car." What the hell is that? I mean, I know what it is, but that crap is ridiculous.

I haven't owned a tv in a long time, but I remember watching this at my grandparents when I visited. I don't think it was the same show, but probably around the same lines it sounds like. I really enjoyed it, but mostly because they got to pick locks, take boats, and drive fast cars that aren't theirs completely within the bounds of the law. I'd never be able to do it, though, despite having some of the skill sets.

I did repo work for awhile, one of my first jobs. Less confrontational than what TV would have you believe I think. Most of the time the former owner never even knew what happened till the vehicle was already gone. One of the best ways was wait till they got home from work and snatch it 5 minutes after they got home or get it at their job.

I think far more often the Owner is notified and releases the car without much of a fight. But the show mentioned in a re-enactment not the real thing. But yes SFV is car centered.

The life of a repo man is always intense.

Took me a second to realize what SFV was....San Fernando Valley, if you don't know.

That show is just the worse, I've watched it, but most of the people on it are just trash in my opinion. A couple of the guys are ok, but that's it.

Yeah, it was the owners' daughter who I had quoted. So, according to her, you're not a man unless you have a car. And I'm quite sure it has be an expensive one at that. :D

Repo shows are comedy. It truly is amazing how people will not make a payment or ten then grow violently angry because the car is being repossessed. Pay up or walk. It is that simple. Yes, a majority of those having automobiles on tv are major trash but I venture to think it is more rampant even amongst the former middle class and wealthy. Will we ever see them?

I caught part of that show the other night, they had it on the television in the hotel lobby. What a crock. I have a friend that has been a repo man for over 25 years, the last thing they want is confrontation...but that wouldn't make good "reality" TV.
