Two weeks away...I know there are a lot of people who ride in Chicago. This is not just for fixies...anyone and everyone. In addition, a percentage of the race fee is going to the Bike Messegner emergency fund - a very worthy cause for these workers who often have minimal, if any, insurance.
Last year saw riders from Milwaukee, NY, Columbus, Madison, MPLS, Chicago (but of course), and other cities. If you didn't go last year, or what to see an Alleycat firsthnd - now is your chance. Looking forward to seeing as many of you there as possible!

Emailed them and just heard back: looks like they are looking people to man the stop watch, record info on manifests, etc. Sounds easy and fun and there's a party, so hey!

Crusty: looks like a great opportunity to up your status to the top of the heap of all posengers. You'll be able to pick up fashion tips and ho knob with real live messengers and hey! that alone has be big points.
