I get that feeling typically from mile 12 to mile 15...everything on either side is just hard.

I had a moment during the Tour De Cure, right around mile 80 something, I had a small cramp in my leg and shook it out, but then I found this happy place, cadence, form, etc, wise and just let our little group of 3 for miles at a real nice pace. I was tired but just felt like I could go forever! That was probably my favourite moment in cycling so far.

I've had similiar zen like moments on the bike.

It's a good feeling and it was fun to watch Sorensen find that happy place on such a big world-class competition and just own this stage.
