I've been lifting weights and cross training for nearly 16 years. I was a competetive body builder at one point, trained in MMA - but my love for cycling, BMX and on/off road motorcycles has always been my passion. I'm built like a body builder and nothing is right.

Baggy shorts are huge in the waist, but tight in the butt (I have a bubble butt).

3XL jerseys are tight up top and loose on the bottom; short sleeved jerseys nearly cut off circulation around my biceps. Oh, and in the real world, I wear XL. Try a XL jersey and I might as well be taking my blood pressure with that jersey!

It's like the thigh-to-waist/shoulder-to-waist ratio doesn't work with cycling clothing for people of my shape. I don't know if I'm alone in this... I doubt it.

I like training and my body is just this way... I look at a weight and I grow. I don't like loose fitting cycling wear because I don't like flapping in the wind - but at this point I just don't know anymore.

bib shorts are your friend. no sleeves to restrict your movments. if i can shoe horn my gut into them and still have it tight enough for the gauds you should be able to as well. then you can find a jersey , compression shirt, or what ever you wore while lifting up top.

I have bib shorts, but I really like the look of baggies (usually I wear a pair of regular shorts over the bibs). I have a pair of Fox shorts I wear all the time... I'd like to find something similar.

I've got the same problem with shorts but it seems to be the same case with all other pants.
