Is a Sram Force OG 1070 10 Speed 11-28 Cassette a compatible replacement for a Dura Ace 12-25?

And will I have to replace the chain and re-adjust the rear derailleur?

Adjust if you knock it out. Replace chain is a good idea along with a cassette unless its a brand new chain. S'long as the teeth numbers work with the min/max on the derailleur then yes sram is fine

Hi ..getting mixed signals, one web source says yes, one site says not compatible with Dura Ace hubs. Any bike mechanics watching

Yes they are compatible and so are the chains. SRAM cassettes are shimano compatible. You may have to do some minor adjustments to the rear der B screw but not because of switching brands but because of going from 12 to 11. I recommend sticking with a shimano chain, especially the dura ace level. It is difficult to install, but it is the best chain period.

The new OpenGlide™ 1070 cassette features a semi-spidered design with specific amounts of material removed from the smaller cogs. This creates a cassette that shifts efficiently and positively in all situations. Fits Shimano 8, 9, and 10 speed cassette hubs, but will not work with Shimano 10 speed only hubs like the Dura-Ace 7800 or Shimano's 10 speed pre-built wheels.

According to them, will not work with Dura Ace

You are fine unless you have new dura ace cassette hub on your existing wheel. If it is a standard shimano compatible hub, it will work. What wheelset do you have?

The DA 7800 hubs and Ultegra 6600 wheelset both used aluminum freehubs with deeper splines. These hubs will only take DA7800 and Ultegra 6600 cassettes. However, the DA7800 and Ultegra 6600 cassettes will fit regular freehubs just fine.

Apparently, the DA7850 hub went back to standard height splines with a titanium freehub body. You should confirm which one you have before purchasing a new cassette.
