And - it was a PITA to get this one. I had to drive a whopping 400 miles to pick it up :eek:.
But I think it was worthwhile.
It's a very early SB, should be from 1975 (SBDU [I][= Specialist Bicycles Development Unit] opened late 1974 and put out around 1,000 bikes in their best years, nearly 10,000 in total 'til late 80s).
It's got the very characteristic early fork crown and seatstay treatment that were used just for a short period, from about SB 600 on they used flat crowns and those well known flat protruding seatstay caps.
But the most important fact is: it's got exactly my size, 63 cm. Perfect.
And it seems to be in quite good condition. I just hope nothing's cracked like on so many other SBDU bikes (maybe they didn't build 'em sooo well, after all :rolleyes:?).
At least it hasn't been raced or abused in any other way, maybe that is the reason why so many SBDU bikes are wrecked.

... trust me, you don't want to know :p. Quite ordinary stuff.
