Based in Perth 4 weeks in five - back in Tamworth with my understanding family 1 week in five.
Had an ephiphany and bought a $75 second- third? forth? - hand Huffey mountain bike, loved it and soon 'upgraded' to an entry level Avanti Hybrid bike - love it more.
Country boy at heart, but Perth is a GREAT city. If you can blend a great city, a bike, throw in some photography, coffee and see some sights then its pretty darn good I reckon.
Already started upgrading the Avanti - new FD - and more to go in the fullness of time, will be looking for advice from the forum as I go, have about 6 bikes to maintain at home - four kids, wife's, my Huffey made it back east as my homebike - so on a steep and enjoyable learning curve.
If you see a Waratahs coloured Avanti - go the mighty 'Tahs! - with a topeak bag and rack around Swan river, Canning river or the coast, maybe taking some landscape photos, please say G'day.
