Bicycle Mechanics - 2003 Cannondale R400 Triple fix help...

Few days ago I bought a used 2003 Cannondale R400 Triple, the bike needs some work. I need some help form people who own or know these bikes. The front derailleur is stripped off, also the rear derailleur is not connected. I thought these should be fairly simple fixes, now I see they’re not. I found out the front derailleur was braze-on, I’m going to try and replace it with clamp-on. The one thing that puzzles me is how the derailleur cables are routed under the crank, there are no guides or clamps for them. Can someone post some help or some pictures of the bottom of the frame please? Thanks.

If you don't have one, don't even bother trying to set up your deraillers.

As long as your seat tube is round, you should be able to get away with using a clamp-on derailler. Just be careful with how tight you make the clamp as some frames use very thin tubing. Shimano recommends 5-7 Nm which is pretty light.
