I have an old bianchi from 1983 with a campy 980 rear derailleur. The derailleur doesnt have any sort of b-adjustment screw, and the jockeys are rubbing the freewheel in the larger gears. How was this handled before b-screws?

thanks in advance

loosen the bolt that holds the DR on, then adjust the angle so it does not rub and re tighten bolt... (probably a better answer from the experts, however that is what I did on mine..)

Your derailleur wasn't designed for use with the large cog size you have, so you should replace your freewheel with a more road-ish one. Like 13-24, for example.
