Bicycle Mechanics - Where can I find (much) smaller seat posts?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I have not had luck finding a seat post of the appropriate size. The inside of the seat tube seems to be 22 mm. Do they make them this small or is it gonna be difficult/expensive to obtain one?

Perhaps the actual size is 22.2mm? I found this w/google: http://cgi.ebay.com/Chro-mo-seatpost-NEW-22.2mm-seat-post-black_W0QQitemZ300296379702QQcmdZViewItem

Yes, probably. Thanks, I don't know why I couldn't find this I tried a search obviously. This looks good, but would (what I presume to be) that connecting bracket in the bottom right of the pic work with regular saddles? It looks strange.

I must be missing something b/c I don't see any connecting bracket in the photo. I just see a straight post with no taper and no additional hardware.
I'd guess that you could get a normal saddle with the proper, "old school" saddle attachment hardware to fit.

LOL, That's a camera symbol. Means it's an image file or something.
