Well, I am not actually a rider (too old, and not enough in shape), primarily a fan. I grew up in France, but moved to Boston back in 1978. I have followed the sport since the early 1970s, primarily the TDF (which I watched religiously every day growing up), as well as the other major tours and one-day classics. Favorite riders include Merckx, Thevenet, Hinault and I now enjoy watching Andy Schleck and (when he is ready to attack in the mountain) Cunego. One of my hobbies has always been fantasy games, and I am hoping to find others in this forum who enjoy friendly virtual competition. To this effect I have created a fantasy Tour de France game, in which you can pick a team of nine riders for every stage of the Tour, and compete for stage wins and overall leader jerseys. The game is located at www.fanletour.net, it is free, and will remain so as I am just doing this for fun.
I am looking forward to the online discussions on this year's TDF, and I hope some of you will want to join in the virtual fun at the website above.
Cheers,
--Jacques Hugon

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
