Can anyone recommend good sunglasses or even a helmet that keeps or prevents sweat from covering my sunglasses or from getting in my eyes. I live in Texas and even 10 mins into a ride I'm already sweating pretty good (yesterday it was 95 degress in Dallas when I rode). My hat does a pretty good job on the run....just need something on the ride. Didn't know if there were sunglasses or helmets designed to prevent that. Thanks!

I use a SweatVac headband.

Others use CoolMax Sweatband

I use a 'do-rag looking thing w/a sweatband built in, I get 'em from Performance

I use bandannas... probably <$1 each from your local 'mart. Although, I don't sweat a TON, so maybe some of the dedicated sweat rags would work better?

I just picked up a Sweat GUTR (http://www.mtbr.com/cat/accessories/Extras/sweat-gutr/headband/PRD_365599_117crx.aspx); I haven't used it enough yet to say how well it works.

I use the Halo headband. It works pretty well and fits nice under the helmet.

I'm pedaling in the Texas heat too. My family gave me a Halo headband for Father's Day today, though it was not something I "asked for." There are plenty of postive posts about the Halo to help with sweat in the eyes. Just search the forums. I'm looking forward to trying it out on my commutes.

Headsweats Shorty. It soaks up and evaporates sweat.

Two solutions. Try the Gutr. Search for it on Amazon. It is a plastic strip you wear on your forehead that catches the sweat and routes it to the sides.
Another incredible solution is the Oakley Radar sunglasses. Somehow sweat does not stick. Not really sure how it works but it does.

+1 on the Sweat GUTR. I've had one about 2 months and love it!
As a fellow Texan, I know what you're going through. It was 102 when I finished my 44 miles on Saturday and the GUTR was doing a great job of keeping the sweat out of my eyes.
