After breaking the bank and pissing the Wifey off buying the LHT, it seemed prudent to wait a bit to spend any money decking it out. But between our tax return and a pretty good sale at Nashbar I managed to get some goodies. The Basil bag was for another bike, but didn't work to well on Moustache bars, so it got moved to the LHT, other than that, new SKS fenders, rear rack and bags, Platform/SPD pedals and some tires I got from a friend(Stock off a Biachi San Jose, a little smaller and lighter than the big Conti's that came stock, just what I was looking to get into). I got the Blackburn Quadrant/Mars 3 light combo, the rear zip tied nicely to the rear fender, but I'm still pondering where to put the front one. I plan on fabbing a mount on the bottom of the Basil as this light looks like it would blind you if it were anywhere else.

Finished the light mount, I'm pretty happy with the results.

Lights (http://www.flickr.com/photos/9320902@N04/3206745377/) under handle bar bags is a great position (http://www.flickr.com/photos/9320902@N04/3384269668/). I'm gonna get 2 more headlights and add them to the forks via mounts made by Minoura. And I have the brightest one on my helmet. This setup will be for trail riding at night (obviously).

Looks good! Only one thing: what DID you do with the frame decals? :) Not a fan?

I felt they went a bit overboard on the decals. Also, they are so fragile, I decided to get rid of them ASAP. I liked the ones on the fork kept them. If I did care about decals I would be disappointed with these, I scraped them off with a credit card in 5 minutes, not exactly durable.

I pulled my decals off too. I noticed that the decals on the fork were missing letters, presumably fell off, so I went ahead and pulled the rest off with a piece of tape. Not durable at all. But I like the look without.

I must have the only LHT made with properly installed decals, because I'm having trouble getting mine off. Tried a hair dryer, didn't work, credit card may take a month, it's peeling off in little pieces. Tried the duct tape method, which did nothing. Mine will never fall off on their own.
