Looking for a 20 to 22 mph group ride in Chapel Hill area for tomorrow morning, Saturday. Anybody help on a regular group ride I could meet up with? When and where....... Thanks!

The P Ride (formerly the Performance Ride) leave from Wilson Park at 9:15 sharp. The leading group average speed will usually be around 23-25mph over 53 miles (however that includes the leisurely first 5 miles or so). The group will usually break up into packs as the tempo increases. Many treat it as their race in off weekends so expect the pace to have quick accelerations and to hit the hills south of town very hard in the latter part of the ride.

Group numbers are usually in the 25-30 riders at this time of the season but are dependent on local races, etc.

Any idea what route that is? I've been doing some loops up weaver dairy as well as some good rides out into orange county. Whatever that road is that used to have "go floyd go" painted on it if anybody knows where that is. :)

I think that was painted at the top of Borland Road, the P Ride goes near there, but doesn't travel that road. MapMyRide.com has several copies of the ride when searching under Carrboro, NC.
