This dude I ride with from time to time bought a beautiful track frame from Ebay. He has no idea who the manufacturer is as it came without decals. However, it has a few unique traits that might be known to someone on here.

It has a sparkly red paint job; I'm assuming that's the original paint
It has an XXX cutout on the bottom bracket
If I remember correctly, it has X indentations on the top of the seat stay tubes

A few guys around here who really know their stuff have taken a look at it and have no idea what it is, though all agree that it's a stunning specimen. Thought I'd throw it out here and see if anyone bites. I'd love to be able to tell him what it is.

Oh, another point: It looks NJS-y. I can't remember if it has the stamp though.

ahh if it's NJS looking then it's definitely not planet x...hmm I don't know. Eddie Merkcx? I'm just throwing out bikes I know that have X in the name hahaha

Thanks bud, but, BUMP!

I would have thought that the XXX would be a distinct marker. I don't think it's that vintage so the C and V forum won't likely know. And the track forum doesn't usually drool over anything other than the latest carbon fibre space machine.
