here she is all done. It is a Colnago Mexico Record Oro. the sticker says 1972 but i am not sure if that is the year. If anyone knows how to find out that woudl be really swell. enjoy.

specs are as follows

Frame: 70's (i am gussing) Colnago record oro pro frame.
Wheels: Phil Wood Hight flange hubs on Mavic Open Pro cd rims
BB: campy
cranks: campy super record 165 (the old ones) I also haev a set of the non fluted version of these but they are not on the bike
pedals: mks ROYAL NUEVO with toshi double staps
seat post: campy chorus ti.
seat: brooks b17
headset: chris king (but the botttom cup is campy i haven't put the chris king piece on the fork yet.
stem: colnago (3ttt) this is an old stem it has colnago machined into the side and the logo machined on the front of it.
bars: not sure. these are very thin bullhorns (38 max) i have not been able to find a bullhorn as nice.

i hope you like. needs a good cleaning and what not but i am too busy riding it. I have also included a pic of the bottom bracket. I love the details

Nice bike. Very classy. The new colnagos seem to have the gaudiest in-your-face paint job. Whatever happend.

I do not know what happened. It is a shame! most new bikes are like that. this bike has original paint and needs new, but if i do anything it will be as simple as it is now.

Thankfully, they fought the urge to "gaudy-up" the 50th Anniversary edition. Now where did I put those seven Gs.

are the hubs and bb sealed? i mean the bb of the frame is un-sealed but is the bb unsealed?

I'm gonna assume he means the cloverleaf cutout at the BB shell will let water and dirt into your BB thus reducing its' life.

yeah. but is the bb crank thing itself sealed?

nah i do not think it is sealed. I haven't opened it up but i have another campy bb that looks similar. I plan on getting a phil wood bb.

Butcher that B17 and wrap some black cork on those bars and it's perfect. As it is... 99% :)

nah no cord on bars and my b17 is fine. no need to cut it
