NOW I have a 6-pack of used cycle computers plus an extra mount or 2 for one low price: $25 shipped to the ConUSA.
I have installed batteries ($15 worth!) in all of them and they all have display functions (I can't tell you whether they all do everything cause I refuse to get any more involved with them: I'm allergic to 'em!)
Here's what you get:
1. Cateye Astrale, includes manual, mount, magnets, clamps and shims, fresh battery installed (purple/black, scratched case)
2. Cateye ATC, includes manual, mount, magnets, clamps & shims, fresh battery (yellow /black, very scratched case)
3. Paramount, mount and magnet, batteries it came with (works, case is good cond.)
4. Specialized Speed Zone, manual, mount, fresh battery, magnet (black/gray, case OK some scratches on top edge)
5. Avocet 45, manual, TWO mounts, magnet, fresh battery (black, in very good cond.)
6. Performance, mount, 2 fresh batteries (gray case, very good cond.) don't have a branded magnet for it, but there are a couple spares in with the others and one may be the mate for this.
7. (BONUS) mount and manual for a Vetta 300 (no computer)

New batteries, tons of images, in-depth description, getting it all together. Time and money! You are basically giving these away. Very generous. But you don't need to hear this, you want a buyer. Sorry.

I beat any other potential buyers to the deal, and I do consider it a Pay it Forward...

I actually sent an extra $5 just to make sure he makes a token amount on the deal. above the batteries, packaging, shipping and PayPal fees.

I have several bikes I ride and/or plan to ride in various situations and like to know how far I ride, so these will come in handy. Even if only 1/2 work beyond showing a display I have done better than buying 3 cheapies at *-mart. A gamble worth taking.

many thanks, little D, I hope they work out for you, or that you can sell them on to somebody who needs one (or more). I just have an unnatural aversion to these things, due to the tendency I had to fiddle constantly with my first one...I realized I had to ditch it or I'd never look at the road and wind up in a ditch, myself.

I do find myself sometimes obsessing on how much farther I have to ride before looping back to achieve a ride of a certain length. And I did have one mishap where I brushed against a brick wall when I was resetting a computer at the start of one side. But I generally watch the road more than my computer. ;)
