I found a guy on CL that's selling 606 in the front and 808 on the rear. Is that a good deal for the wheelset or should I keep looking around. Also I have no idea what year they are and they are tubulars.
Triathlon - $1250 for zipps? Is this a good deal?

find out the year and if they are tubulars. thats important. and 606 in the front?? that is not a wheel. the 606 is a wheelset with a 404 in front and a 808 in the rear. is that what you meant?

If the seller can't give you a detailed history of any problems, what model year they are, etc. etc. then I'd be wary. If he seems like a good/responsible owner it might be worth taking the chance, assuming they're recent. $1250 would seem like a good price for some '08s or MAYBE '07s if they're in great shape, but probably too much fo anything older.
