I am looking to get a new pair of grips for my stumpy and I am wondering what peep's are using any why they like the grips they have.. As of now I have the stock Specialized thin lock on grip's, not bad but I know there are better grips out for use.

Thanks for your thoughts..

Sunline lock-ons (http://www.sixsixone.com/Catalog_SunlineCycling.aspx?id=9685f996-a8a7-4713-bc80-6f1296ea72c7) not only for the obvious reasons but because they feel and work good too.

the ruffian lock ons are popular. and i've had a pair they are super comfy. i have small hands but the extra thickness is so comfy that i can ride without gloves. HOWEVER. they get contaminated or something and they just started self-destrucing and leaving oily black crap all over my hands. didn't take a year for it to start happening either. i have a friend with the same grips and the same thing happened.

so i can recommend a thick grip like the ruffian but not the ruffian itself.

^ my odi ruffians are great, but they are not a thick grip, are you thinking of the rogue? the ruffians do seem to be made of a pretty soft rubber which makes em comphy and grippy, but they seem to wear out on the faster side, I just rotate mine around until they are used up, but you can get refills and re-use the lock rings so w/e

I have BIG hands, and I use the Rogues on my bikes. I rotate them on the bar periodically to max out the wear life.

I ditched my worn out ritchey tvg grips for some oury lockons... They are much thicker... Still undecided if I like the thick grips. I like the end caps of the lock on grips, but I havent hit them on a tree yet.

been using the ESI chunkys and prob the best grips I've used. No throttling and grip well.
