I have a set of 700X32 inch tires on my trek soho bike and want to go wider. I have disc brakes. How wide can I go? I want a tire that is a little more comfortable for some gravel roads I encounter sometimes.
Call the bike shop where you got it. They should know.

How much room do you have towards the front of your chainstays? How much room to you have up front between your forks and also top of tire. Don't know this bike but if it came stock with 32's... most will allow for some room to go bigger.

For an exact answer to your question, without trial and error, take the bike to your local shop for help. Numbers on bike tires don't tell the whole story, as standardization across manufacturers is a bit muddled. Same as with frame sizes. My XRs have a larger foot print than my Continentals of the same size designation. You rim xsection also plays a role on how big a tire you should mount.
