Track Cycling: Velodrome Racing and Training Area - Recommendations for oversize track bars?

I'm looking around for some new oversize track bars. Was going to go with some IRD Superdrome/Soma Velodramas but damn those things are heavy (I know weight doesn't matter for the track really, but these are pretty ridiculous).

But is there anything else worth looking at? Carbon bars are generally all outside of my pricepoint (ideally < 100 bucks). I've heard good things about the Deda Pista Elementi bars.

Was using Nitto B125s on old frame.

Deda, however the drop/reach is more comparable to the Nitto B123 rather than the 125.

As far as I know, the only OS track bars are the Deda Pista, IRD/Soma, and the Easton EC90s, and all of these are deep-drop, much more like the 123 than the 125. There are probably some European ones which aren't readily available in the US, but I wouldn't know about those.

Keirinculture has Cinelli O/S pista bars. They are very similar to the Deda. I have some of the Eastons, as well as Deda. Either are quite good, but the Deda wins out every time on price.

Pretty much the only OS track bars are deep drop, so if you want shallow/OS, you're restricted to road drops. Not necessarily a bad thing though.

I'm a fan of Deda Pistas. I find the drop curve to be really comfortable on my hands. It'd be nice if they came in more than one size though.

It sounds like the Deda Pistas are going to be the winner (partly cause I like a fair amount of drop in my track bars)

I also just noticed that Cinelli are now making OS track bars and from the online photos they look a lot like like the Deda Elementis (pretty similar reach and drop).

if you are going to get the deda pista, consider the steel version available in chrome.

I have heard they are stiffer than the aluminium.

The Deda Pistas look great and are very comfy as far as track drops go. A couple of my friends have them, so I've ridden on them a few times.
