Welcome to CO, enjoy the wonderful mountains. I have to work, but if you need riding suggestions, look at the "Copper Triangle" and "Triple Bypass" and "Blue River Century" routes and pick and choose what looks good. And you can always head on down to SouthPark and have yourself a time (Fairplay = southpark, look for Mr. Hanky in the old town).
Also there's a huge network of bike paths around Dillon/Frisco - maps available in town. And eat pastery at the Butterhorn bakery in Frisco. OMG.

valygrl - thanks for the suggestions, esp. for the bakery. ;) Hobart and I brought all our riding hear minus the actual bike so we'll be renting a couple bikes for at least one of the days while we're here. Probably take the rec trail down into Frisco from here and then beyond if we can adjust to the altitude decently well. Considering home's elevation is around 650ft it's quite the jump for us even with a night in Lubbock which is at around 3,000ft. Also considering renting something a bit more off-road capable and trying out our dirt handling skills, which are even by Texas standards fairly novice. But a couple cyclists can vacation in Colorado without getting some sort of ride in!
