Hello fellow C&Vers ...
No pics yet, but I brought home another green bike this weekend. A "Yama", "Built by Nissan Cycle Co.".
I can find next to nothing about this brand. The frame is lugged steel, probably hi-ten. Does not appear to be very high quality workmanship, but I picked it up for the components, which interested me.
Looks to be early 70's, with Suntour GT rear derailer (steel) and Spirt up front. The Spirt is high-normal, which is different from everything I've ever seen. Suntour stem shifters with nice feel. Dia Compe centerpulls, Sakae SR 3-piece crank. High flange hubs. Sorry no pics yet, but I should have them up tomorrow.
I can't find boo about these bikes, so I look to you, wise sages.
