Ok I am on the home stretch of my Concord Pacer S/S build and I am down to picking out the right size square taper shaft to set my chainline up when it all came to a screeching halt. The Vintage NOS SR crankset that was to be one of the focus points of the build has thrown me for a loop and now I would,1 like to find out what the crankset is and 2 find out if there is a way to use it without breaking the bank.I will suppy pics and try to answer anything I can.
The main Problem is that the square taper in the crankset is bigger then any square taper shaft I have and after searching online and reading all about JIS and ISO sizing I thought I understood it until I start reading other peoples questions and answers.I can say that all the square taper shafts I have I thought they were JIS as they are on cheap and better built bikes that I have and have always changed in the past. I do not have any vintage Campy stuff to compare this crankset too to tell if it is ISO or JIS or just made wrong. All of the square taper shafts that I have fit in until they bottom out and are very loose at this point they can't be tightened at all just holding it in your hand you can see why. I took some measurements with my NSK digital calipers and here is what I have on my CS the taper goes from 14.23mm down to 12.97 and the standard crankarm goes from 13.24mm to 12.38mm and the shaft I am measuring (which is like all of them I have about 15 ) goes from14.27mm down to 12.72mm in 16.75mm of shaft.I would really like some help with this and I would really like to use this CS in my build but if I can't is it worth anything so I could sell it and get a nice CS that will work and that I will like,it has to be vintage and lite this one is all alloy.Sorry for the long post but I couldn't think how to shorten it.
I will post some pics of the crankset and some on a shaft along with a standard crankarm and I hope someone can help me

this is the first pic of it on the shaft

Second shows that it can't go down no more

this is standard arm and it has room to tighten down.

this shows that there is room for it to come down more on the taper.

If this is a ISO crankset can I get a square taper shaft for a 68mm BB and if so how would I know what size to get to set my chainline I am running a 5 speed out back and I want a double up front. This was a cottered crank bike but the BB shell is standard 68mm
