Foo - My urine has blood in it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

OMFG!
I just got back from a physical (during which i was touched in the pants by a dude doctor) and they'd also recieved the results back from the urine sample I gave them on monday. I had a nasty crash last sunday that sent me cartwheeling off my DH bike, and I guess I bruised a kidney or something. That's some scary crap man. Blood in my urine? I had to give another urine sample today to see if there's still blood in it, cause if there is than something could be really, really bad. Like a busted liver or something. I hope I dont have to get fondled again though. That was no fun.

having a girl doctor isn't that much better. think of the doc as a lifless machine. they stay up for days working and sor forth.
bah. if ya ain't dead it can't be that bad. it'll probably just require some surgury.

What colour is your poo this week? Does it float or sink? The minutia of your life holds no end of fascination for me.

I found female doctors are harder to talk to about ....broken plumbing issues.
I had a rather nasty one a few years back....a urinary tract infection...my god it was hard to tell this woman that it burned when i peed,...it was almost like some part of my primate like brain screamed "what the hell is wrong with you...you dont talk about damaged good to the opposite sex...HEATHEN!!!"...it was terrible, letsleave it at that.

Oh, my gawd Allister! You are killing me, LOL!
And especially since it reminds me of a somewhat similar situation that happened when I was pregnant with one of my kids. . . I won't inflict any of that minutia on you! I still cringe when I think about it--but I laugh too!
Not to spoil the party here but blood in urine is not a good thing,
get it checked out. My best friend had same turned out it was bladder
cancer. I do the Ride for the Roses in his memory now.
Get it checked out, ok?

Like the old saying goes...
Blood in your urine is much better than urine in your blood.

Hmmm... I like that.
Are blood and urine the main ingridients in Istanbul Tea?

True. I always come to bikeforums.net when I need medical advice. You can't get quality information like 'see a doctor' or descriptions of worst case scenarios that happened to some aquaintance of relative anywhere else.
