From an email like 5 minutes ago regarding our riding the tandem from the Church to the reception:
I'm going to ask your dad to make our "just married" sign for the bike. I always liked his handwriting. What do you think? I got some thicker paper - I was thinking a vertical sign zip tied to the rack? I don't want any drag from a horizontal sign..." :love::D

Put the sign on the back of the stoker's wedding garment (no drag!).
A couple got married on the El Tour de Tucson a few years ago. They rode their single bikes halfway (50 miles) got married and hopped on tandem for the second part of the century. Yup, she had a white veil streaming from under her helmet . . .
Congrats on the upcoming wedding . . . celebrated our 54th wedding anniversary this year. Yes, we still ride TWOgether!!!!

Tricia (MyLilPony) and i still talk about, and smile over the note Ruth wrote to family about why supporting your tandem is the right thing to do, and how you're tandem riding reflects and strengthens your relationship. It was just so darn sweet and romantic.

I don't want any drag from a horizontal sign...Sounds like you need to mount fenders on the tandem and install a customized pedestrian slicer (http://www.caferacer.ca/cafegallery/albums/userpics/New_Front5.jpg) plate. :)
