I'm having some tubular wheels built up for CX racing this fall. What's a good all-round tire that won't break the bank? So far I've seen the Tufo line on BTD. Pretty pricey. Thanks.

Anything tubular is going to be pricey. I would recommend Tufo or Vittoria, only because guys I know who go tubular ride those and seem to like them.

Challenge Grifos are fairly cheap as tubies go, and are well liked by many pros. The sidewalls are exposed cotton, so it will require a little upkeep on your part.
