Mountain - Plains - Denver - Weekend Ride anyone?

Training for the triple and have not got anywhere close to enough miles in for training. This is my last available weekend. Anyone up for a ride? Doesn't mater where, or how far, hopefully 50+ miles. Just hoping for clear skies for a change.

Some ideas:
The folks at DFC on meetup.com have a ride or two scheduled. My club has a 80-125 mile suffer fest scheduled for Saturday. I will be doing the 125 mile version. clubhypoxia.com

I wish I could, but last weekend was actually my last before the Triple. I am heading to Australia on Friday and will end up home and jet-lagged on the 5th. I am taking July 6-8 off to ride and recover though, if anyone is available then. I probably won't go too epic with the Triple coming up that weekend though.

The 80 mile version would hit the spot for me. Any idea on the number of riders that generally make it out? Do you know the route before hand or just when you get there?

I have no clue about the route or the number of riders. A lot of our folks seem to be at RAAM.
As a result it may be a small turnout. The 6 that I know are going to be there are all riding the full version. To be honest DFC may be a better choice. Either that or RMCC.
I'm just a bit clueless as to the turnout this year. There was a fair number of riders last year but few seem to have signed up this year.
You are more than welcome to come. :) There is going to be a new route shortly and we may be able to stay together until the route splits.

Great scenery and a whole lotta hills.

The brook forest bravo ride was brutal (but a blast). It was a good idea to skip it.

Pretty typical description of most (longer) Club Hypoxia rides!

My training is finally paying off. :)
Mike wanted me to ride whatever torture fest they are partaking in August but that is my son's birthday. Mt Shasta?

I ended up with Bergen park to the top of Mount Evans on Saturday, 3:40, I was pretty happy with that seeing as I had never done it before. Gorgeous day as well. Note to self, bring extra clothes for the descent. Sunday was Golden to echo lake. Was gonna go down to Idaho Springs, and back up 40, but the thought of climbing out of there.......Well I turned around at echo lake and went back the way I came. I have no worries about the triple now, just a matter of how much faster I am this year than last :)
