Folding Bikes - New Rixen Kaul seat bag

Went to the local LBS and they've got some new Rixen Kaul stuff. Designed to hold either a water bottle or rain jacket and enough space to hold a tube, multi tool and lever and maybe a small pump.

Picked up a Polar bottle as well while I was there.

This Rixen Kaul stuff is cool.

I've had one of these bags for about two years and it is very handy because it clips into various Rixen Kaul fittings. This means you can put it anywhere on the bike if you don't like the idea of a bottle sticking out behind the saddle and collecting anything thrown up off the back wheel! You can also use the bottle compartment to hold clothing etc if you have bottle cages elsewhere on your bike.

That's clever!

ThorUSA sells the KLICKfix mounts and adapters as well as some of the Rixen Kaul baskets and bags. I don't know if he carries that particular seat bag though. Very cool.

This is another shot of the bag when placed behind the seat. I now have it as an option on my stem riser on my Swift.

Further to the Rixen Kaul bottle bag; These are some photo's of it on my Xootr Swift front steerer. R/K do a neat little bracket that will fit down tubes or handlebars into which the bag will clip. They also supply a small fitting to which you can screw a bottle cage and this can also clip into the bracket - very handy. The bag has a small zipped pocket which is ideal for mobile phone, camera or other bits and bobs.
