i believe that hte hollow axles are lighter but at the same time i think its not as strong so hollow axle or non-hollow axle for rims??

I've only run hollow axles on race bikes......if you're concerned about that much weight you've probably got bigger problems

i ride hollow axles on my fit series two and ive found them to be just as strong as other axles, i bent my old axles but these seem to hold up despite bad grinds and cased jumps
