It was worth it just for the Sonny Chiba "Sushi Chef" exchange.
It is pretty, over the top, gory. For those that saw it in theatre, did they black and white the big Yakuza army fight sequence in the hotel?

Also if you ever watch it again, Think Lil Jon (Yeah!) during the Yakuza army fight scene. Pretty funny

The 5,6,7,8's perform on the special features section, I love that Surf flow :)

If you didn't already, make sure you see Vol. 2. It balances out the gore of Vol. 1 and confirmed Tarentino's mastery.

yes the black&white is there. It's from an old japanese movie (although I originally thought maybe he did to avoid an X rating)

There is so much baby cart series in it that I thought it was cool. *****wagon is all Tarantino though!

Funny, I totally hated Kill Bill. But then, I've never liked anything of Tarantino's. I maintain that he is totally and completely overrated. Pulp Fiction was the only one I had any amount of positive feeling for. I still say Reservoir Dogs is total shït. I generally wish directorial death upon him. The only thing in Kill Bill I actually liked was the animated section, which was done by Production IG.

I almost liked Vol. 2 more. Still had plenty of action and gore, but I liked the dialogue and story that went into it. Showed you the movie was more than hack'em up. I liked Pulp Fiction, I was none too impressed with Reservoir Dogs either.
