Could not ID occupants, one flashed gang signs at me.

license plate was california and started with 4HTX___ (I have the rest, not putting it all up, due to homebrew vigilantes)

I was riding southbound on 4th st at about 9:30-10pm, and this car blows by me with a guy hanging out the window flashing gang signs screaming "Your going down *****! we **** you up". I just pulled over made a note of teh plate, and rode home. Just keep in mind if you see these guys, to be weary...either they are morons or gang members...either way same difference.

I'd say more than likely they're just cowards, trying to look tough from a car window. It's pretty easy to do. My guess is they'd be lucky to last five minutes in a real gang. Still, I hope you've reported it to the police.

jsut a bunch of stupid jocks, the one who did it was trying to act cool.

Well, he did seem to be rather apologetic, considering he was possibly getting removed from teh team, screwing his scholarship. Well I felt like being harsh, but not screwing him over so I talked to his coach...a rather nice long amount of community service was the end result after talking to him today.

Hopefully this jacka** learned his lesson, there is a way to behave....do it.

No compassion, I'm just extremely neutral when dealing with things like that. He didn't do any real harm, and he was jsut being a moron. Yeah what he did was illegal and he got his punishment.

As far as scholarships...one stupid move shouldnt mess that up.

Now if he threw something at me....oh heck yes I'd get him kicked out. The difference is how bad it could have ended with that single action alone.

The problem is they hit things they didn't mean too, like kids sitting at home doing their schoolwork and being good children...

I pretty much ignore yelling, unless I hear it from right behind me - that causes a flinch. Most of the times, I've already heard the car and know where it is, and looked at the car several times - I'm usually just waiting for the car to pass so I can take the lane and draft it.

And why exactly not? If I were an admissions panel at a university I would never want this kind of dolt messing up my campus or the gene pool in general.
