Commuting - most satisfying thing about being named EotM

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

wow... too bad there's not a way to stand it up and lock it in the middle of the spot rather than the sign.

That's great, congratulations!
Do you have a shot showing the empty parking spot?

Congratulations.
Can you borrow a bike rack for the month? Perhaps a "sponsored" one from the LBS. If you place in the parking spot it could demonstrate how space effective bicycles are..

Rent out the parking space!
you've got the right idea... you could rent out the spot to people in the office. $2/day.
Or, give it to your boss, kiss a little ass (tell him "you're the reason i'm EoTM, etc.") and advance you career.
nah i asked facilities to put a bike rack in the spot for the month so theyre gonna do that and i'll let whoever wants to park there.

Now I'm gonna have to go get a picture of mine parked in the reserved "alternative fuels" spaces.
We have bike racks down in the fleet parking area. However, many folks have decided to bring their bikes in from home and store them down there just in case they get the notion to go ride on the nearby trails system at lunch or after work one of these days. The end shot is that commuters wind up locking to the fence or racing for the one or two open bike spaces.
I've been using my Tikit for the past month, and solved the issue by letting the Tikit curl up and sleep under my desk.

That would make a great picture, and could improve the parking there for your fellow commuters.

That's hilarious.
At the summer camp I'm biking my soon-to-be-8 yr old to, there is an eotm spot and the current occupant parks his pimped out prelude diagonally just enough to stick out to the spots on either side of it.
