Ever have one of those perfect mornings?
No wind (which is rare where I live), nice temp (9C) and light traffic. And I leave at 5:30AM.
It all makes for a very nice ride to work. I guess I will pay for this on the way home when its hot, windy and the traffic is heavy.......

Leaving home.

Do you have anything that could even remotely be described as a hill along your route?:D

The poor guy has one boring ride. :)
He probably never has to shift.:innocent:
No coasting down hill.:D
He has 6-8 wide foot lane. On parts of my ride I am lucky to have the edge of the road.

He probably doesn't even need to steer either .

Bet he could do it on a unicycle.

But I'm still jealous.

Coming home was brutal.........
31C, and 50-70kmh headwinds. Crazy. I had it in the small ring a few times.
Then came the thunderstorm. Horizontal rain and rocks/dust.
Brutal........

Nice shots, ricohman.
It's been very nice here in the AM the past several days. Nothing but cows, sheep, horses and birds ...and a handful of cars (5 blocks and one light in town...the rest, 6.5 mi, is rural). Most of the cagers are used to seeing me and they just wave as they pass by. Evenings are a different story...103* and the birds and livestock, like me, just have thier tounges hanging out. But there is usually a tail breeze to help me home.

Yeah, the heat later in the day can be killer.
But when it feels like your riding in a giant hair dryer......
I may not have hills but the constant wind is my mountain.
