Im clueless in the bikeworld and need a bike for college. I've got $200 max to spend right now so have been thinking about finding a deal on an old vintage bike and hopefully having some money later to put into replacing what I feel needs to be replaced. Im going to check out this bike tonight, and considering purchasing it if I like how it rides and fits.

Hi Greg,
I'm going to move this to the Appraisal sub-forum. That's where people comment on "what's it worth" posting.

Its probably worth $125 but why not wait for something with 700c aluminum wheels?

700c or 27" doesn't make much difference really, but that bike has chromed steel wheels; aluminum wheels would be noticeably lighter. I would say with steel wheels it's more in the $80-100 range, but with the upgrades, $125 is hardly a ripoff.
This Sprint is pretty much at the bottom of the line, like a Varsity or a World Sport.

Yeah, you could probably do better.
