I have Shimano Deore LX derailleurs on my Fisher HKEK, and I need to make some adjustments to the front. I have read the instructions, and while the steps outlined don't seem difficult, I can't seem to reach the cable clamp screw with any of the tools I have ('L'-style allen keys). It doesn't seem practical to have to remove the crank and chainwheels (since they need to be there to adjust it), so is there some other type of tool that people use, or some trick to get the right angle?

Thanks

What gear is it in? I think that if you shift into the granny gear it'll go easier.
