Hey guys.

So my new B2 came with a FSA Gossamer crankset. It was the one part of the spec I wasn't big on. The bottom bracket has already started knock knocking on heavens door. Specifically, when I'm at the bottom of my non driveside pedal stroke I hear/feel a knocking.

So I'm going to go in this weekend and spend the $30 for a new BB but looking long term what crank would you guys consider? My bike has DA front and rear derailleurs but I just can't afford the matching crank att this point.

I'm thinking about just getting a Chris King bottom bracket and being done with it. Then going to a different FSA crankset in the future.

My Cervelo P1 came with the same FSA Gossamer crank and I wasn't impressed. I picked up a Shimano R700 compact crank and BB off of the slowtwitch forum and will be swapping it out next week.

I had the FSA SLK that had issues. Replaced it with a DA (7800) crank and BB; WORLD of difference. Much smoother and stiffer. The prices on them are coming down with 7900 out, look on eBay and you should be able to get a good deal.
