it's a perfect fit for the helmet, excellent 200m throw as advertised

now my set is complete

P7 front
P7 rear (red)
TK11 R2 on my helmet :thumb:

all uses the same battery type, now i can swap around the batteries without having to worry about carrying different types :)

pictures later, it's day time outside even until around 10pm ... LOL  it's hard to get a good night shot to show the TK11 R2 in action

Jaa, for the most part Fenix makes great lights. I've found my LD2 lights to be bombproof.

GTA,
Can't wait to see the pic's, when the sun goes down.
I have contemplated a Fenix, lots of good reviews on them.

Which P7 do you have for the front?
I have the red for the rear and a Aurora, single bat P7 for the front coming soon.

I've been looking for a P-7 red light for the rear.

Where can you find them? Any recommendations?

BTW, I have an Aurora 2-mode. Very happy with it.

Also have two Fenix L2D lights. Excellent quality.

But ... none of the three throws red.

The rear light referred too in the link is a Luxeon K2, not a P7.. A P7 rear light would be serious overkill.. Consider the K2 luxeon is a 3 watt LED and some of the brighter taillights on the market like the superflash are just 1/2 watt luxeons..

Back to the TK11, I bought one last July, prior to the R2 version.. This is a serious thrower and just super runtime.. I have gotten over 3 hours on Turbo mode with the new Ultrafire 3000 batteries.. I thought is was a little big for a helmet light but coupled with a P7 on the handlebars, it compliments the P7 just great.. Use your P7 as your primary light and the TK11 aimed a little further down the road makes for a great combo.. I prefer the SB L-Mini for a helmet light, one of the smaller 18650 lights on the market and now uses an R2 emitter..
