Hello,
54 years old, Hailey, Idaho (Michigan transplant). Bought a bike 4 years ago to ride, didn't. Recently upgraded my equipment thru online auctions and now pedaling an hour daily. This area is scenic and I need exercise.

Traffic freaks me, I need a mirror but bike mounted ones are problematic. Web research revealed eyeglass-mounted products were expensive and I had a better idea, I think...

[MOD EDIT TO REMOVE AD]

Not sure if I'll post much in bikeforums.net but I have and will be reading posts to get the best cycling information.
Thanks, BK

Welcome to BF.

Here's the mirror I use.

I appreciate the info RonH, I hadn't seen that one. Nice. Just the Take-a-Look and Third Eye brands were found in my research.

My design approach is super basic with like materials. I see this mirror as a small "aid" to looking around always. I feel the low price should attract some folks who might otherwise go without... I hope.

Thanks for the input (and the greeting to a new member). If you know of previous forum discussions of mirrors here, please share.

There have been loads of mirror discussions on BF.
Go to the top of BikeForums and click on "Search the Forums". Enter mirror as the search term and select how many months you want displayed. I selected 6 months and came up with 20 pages of mirror threads.
